Stackable File Systems for MS-Windows

The goal of this project is to provide the FiST Stackable File System infrastructure and FiST language for the MS-Windows OS. The challenge is that Windows is very different than Unix; Windows does not have a Unix-like VFS, but rather all file system activities are event driven. The first goal is to provide a flexible encryption file system that can be mounted on top of any Windows folder, whether it is on a local VFAT/NTFS drive, or a remote one from SMB/CIFS.
