Unionfs has not been included in the vanilla kernel and continues to be
patch. It appears that the kernel developers have a different idea on
how the stackable unification file system support should be implemented.
According to a recent thread on the Linux kernel mailing list, work is
finally underway on this different approach.

In MiniMyth, I am using the unionfs 2.5.1 patch for 2.6.29-rc2 with
2.6.29.4 and I have not had any problems. However, I do have a problem
when using it with 2.6.30-rc6.
