[Unionfs] unionfs on 2.6.26.rc8

Hello,

I'm able to download and build unionfs from git.kernel.org using the command

git clone git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/ezk/unionfs.git

However, this is based on kernel 2.6.26-rc1 and not on the latest kernel from Linus, at 

git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git

Can some tell me how to use git to merge the two together so I can get unionfs on kernel 2.6.26.rc8?
