Hi Urs,
No, the recent changes we've made to unionfs which had fixed a number of
problems, including Olivier Blin's RPM database corruption, applied only to
unionfs versions for kernels 2.6.23 and higher. The reason for this
kernel-version cutoff is that in kernels prior to 2.6.23, the vm_operations
API was different and more complex.
We can investigate the earlier vm_ops API and what it'd take to use it for
kernels before 2.6.23, but you have to do something for me first: open a
bugzilla report with *all* the gory details. :-)
