[Unionfs] kernel BUG at fs/unionfs/inode.c:1031

Hi,

I am running ubuntu gutsy with modified initramfs to provide unionfs based
root filesystem.
Kernel: 2.6.23.1
Unionfs: 2.1.9

The unionfs root has two layers. A read-only nfs, and a local tmpfs for cow
operations.
I got the attached message at boot time. (previous message)
Can I provide more information to help find out what was the problem?
