Absolutely willing (and able :-) to help.
To get [re]started, I'd like info on how I can get/download the following:
- a livecd image (w/ unionfs 1.x or 2.x, doesn't matter)
- kernels sources + .config for the livecd kernel
- any patches I may need on top of unionfs (eg. apparmor).
