Stefan, you're right. The problem is that we don't have clean tags to diff
against. It'd be nice if Linus would tag his branch with -rcN each time he
releases an -rc, but it seems Linus hasn't been tagging in a while.
We'll be more careful in the future. In the mean time, I've released
rc7-u2, which is a cleaner patch:
<ftp://ftp.filesystems.org/pub/unionfs/unionfs-2.x/linux-2.6.22-rc7-u2.diff.gz>
Of course, that patch will be quickly superseded by an official 2.6.22-u1
patch as Linus just released 2.6.22. Stay tuned.
Erez.
PS. in addition to being cleaner, the rc7-u2 patch includes a fix when
renaming symlinks.
