[Unionfs] Regression in 2.6.21.5-u2 compared to 2.6.21.5-u1

Hi,

I tried today to upgrade from the u1 release for the 2.6.21.5 kernel to 
the newer u2 version.
The system which was working fine doesn't boot anymore, it hangs when 
doing a pivot_root in the init.
The rest of the system remained unchanged. And when I switch back to the 
u1 version the system boots again.
Any ideas about the origin of this regression?
