Sascha, what version of unionfs have you been using? If anything older than
2.1, then please try 2.1 first and let us know.
Now, what's your *precise* setup? Are the two branches coming from two
different file systems, or are they two directories from the same underlying
f/s? If the latter, then the behavior you describe above (if I understood
you right), makes sense.
