The following new releases of Unionfs 2.0 are now available on

	<http://unionfs.filesystems.org/>

linux-2.6.23-rc1-u2
linux-2.6.22.1-u4
linux-2.6.21.6-u4
linux-2.6.20.14-u6
linux-2.6.19.7-u6
linux-2.6.18.8-u6
linux-2.6.9-u4

Changes from last set of releases (made on July 23, 2007):

1. Fixed the readonly branch option to fully behave as if the branch came
   from a real-only media. This allowed us to obsolete the old 'nfsro'
   option, which is no longer necessary (and was only partially implemented
   in unionfs2).

2. Mmap fixes to unionfs_writepage. One of the bugs fixed was that
   /bin/sync would hang on low-memory systems (esp. if using lots of tmpfs
   mounts).

3. Extended attribute copyup fixes (which sometimes manifested as oopses in
   unionfs_flush). Also cleaned up and rewrote some of the xattr code to be
   more in line with the mainline kernel's recent practices.

4. Cache-coherency fixes which resulted in oopses under heavy memory usage
   and full preemption (esp. if using tmpfs).

As usual, feel free to report all problems you find to

	<https://bugzilla.filesystems.org/>

Enjoy.

Erez, on behalf of the Unionfs team.
