mplayer can
in gentoo:
echo "media-video/mplayer quicktime" >> /etc/portage/package.use && emerge
mplayer
or with paludis:
echo "media-video/mplayer quicktime" >> /etc/paludis/use.conf && paludis -i
mplayer
Don't know about other distros
