Ok so i got the eth0 issue fixed by enabling LAN Boot ROM in the bios.

Now im trying to set up mandriva with my tv tuner card and am having issues. So i installed the firmware drivers for ivtv, however i still cant get either tvTime or kdeTv to work with my system. I have been able to scan for tv channels with KdeTV but tvTime quit whenever i start it. I tried using mplayer to play the video and got an error b4 it could start playing. Below is the output from dmseg for ivtv and also the output from mplayer /dev/video0

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue.
