For those of you who can't stand the persistence of KDE's Desktop folder beneath your home directory, here's your fix. ~/.kde/share/config/kdeglobals: [...] [Paths] Desktop[$e]=/dev/null/ [...] While you're at it, if you dislike the notion "Trash", you may also want to set Trash[$e]=/dev/null in that same [Paths] section. ngl
