You know, a fair number of the ideas on the list work quite well with the
theme.  Observe the following:

:)  Or possibly "Cold War".

So everyone can relax, I think we're fine :)  Of course some ideas could
fail in execution, such as the HHH...it's easy to make a hippo, but to make
one that is obviously hungry hungry AND A Hungry Hungry Hippo?  How
accessible is that to people who weren't kids in the States in 1990...?
